With launch of two latest machines, Caterpillar and Al-Bahar to exhibit technology-enabled equipment and solutions that help customers meet their most demanding jobsite needs.

Al-Bahar, the exclusive dealers of Cat® Products, is preparing to participate in Big 5 Heavy 2018, a new, independent, international large-scale exhibition dedicated to the heavy construction industry, at Dubai World Trade Centre on 26-27-28th March 2018.

With growing demand for reliable and cost-effective solutions among most businesses in the region, Al- Bahar aims to show case Caterpillar’s latest revolutionary innovation, with launch of two new machines – the Next Generation Cat 320 Excavator and Cat 962L Wheel Loader. Both are latest inclusions from the Next Gen and L Series product family launches. Al-Bahar is collaborating with Caterpillar® for the participation, to leverage the platform to demonstrate the most innovative Cat products and, its unrivalled services and customized solutions that help its customers achieve continued success.

Theme this year – ‘New Range. New Rules.’, reflects the universal theme for Cat Next Generation Excavators. It portrays the powerful message of the new machine and its revolutionizing technology that promises to transform the partnership between man and machine. The next generation excavator is projected to bring ground-breaking development to an entire industry, as it boosts productivity and reduces fuel consumptions.

Commenting on the expectation from the participation, Mr. Samer Ismail , Product Manager earthmoving and excavation, Al-Bahar, quoted, “Big5 Heavy being one among the leading international construction events, we anticipate exceptional exposure and a bigger platform to reach our customers. Our focus in Big5 Heavy will be to introduce and exhibit our revolutionary machine features. Elaborating the technology trends driving Cat’s advanced machinery in the Middle East, especially the GCC countries, Samer stressed, “Technology adoption has always been on priority for Caterpillar. “CPM – Caterpillar Product Management – and Cat Connect are examples of this. The products being exhibited at The Big 5 Heavy will include technological advancements like Product Link, Assist package (Assist- Grade-Bucket- Boom-Swing), Payload Package, 2D (including 2D E- Fence) and 3D Advanced Systems, Rear View Camera, and more.”
